The roller mill crushes the material between two rollers kept under pressure by a hydraulic system (2 to 10 T/cm linear).
This crusher uses a patented pressure pulsation process that reduces vibration levels, resulting in significant energy savings and longer service life for wear parts. It can handle high capacities (up to 500 T/h) with a fine granulometry (10 to 1000 microns).
Roller mills save up to 30% energy compared with traditional crushers. The rollers are equipped with an anti-wear coating which, coupled with a low speed, gives the longest service lives on the crushing market.
High hydraulic grinding pressure crushes the material bed. One of the rollers is movable, and the gap is adjusted according to the incoming material and the hydraulic pressure control. Controlled hydraulic damping coupled with pressure pulsation (POITTEMILL patent) reduces shocks and vibrations, which are detrimental to anti-wear coatings and mechanics. What’s more, the pressure pulsation favors cylinder feeding and deagglomerates wafers as they leave the mill.
